The competent default

ChangeNOW does the ordinary job well: several hundred assets, no account needed, settlement on major chains that completes when it says it will. Since 2017 it has built the most consistent operational record in a category where consistency is the differentiator.

It tells you where the money goes

The terms state that the service fee is included in the quoted rate, and the categories of transaction that trigger a compliance review are published rather than left to discretion in a paragraph nobody reads. In this category that counts as real transparency, and it is the main reason ChangeNOW scores level with a competitor that covers more assets.

Support is the feature

With no account, the support desk is your only recourse when a swap stalls or a compliance flag lands. ChangeNOW publishes contact channels with a stated response target and names its operating entity in the terms. It still cannot promise that a held transaction resolves quickly — nobody in this category can — but the odds of reaching a human are better here than at the bottom of the table.

Limits

Rates on thin pairs are noticeably worse than on majors, and fiat routes are provided by third parties, so a card purchase involves a company you have not evaluated. Keep swap sizes small enough that a delay is an annoyance rather than a problem.
